Here’s How We Work:
Signed, Sealed, Delivered!
our On Record camcorder will come with a fully charged battery and an empty SD card already installed. Extra batteries are included for when the first one runs out (after roughly 3 hours of recording), and a charger is provided, just in case you need it!
2. Take it For A Test Run
Our camcorders are designed to be very user-friendly, but if you need a little extra guidance, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. You’ll receive easy-to-follow instructions plus access to a video tutorial via a QR code, located on the camera and inside your On Record kit.
3. Who Needs A Film Crew When You’ve Got Friends?
One of the best things about On Record is that it’s all about the candid moments. The real, genuine memories captured by the people who know you best. To help make sure nothing gets missed, your kit includes a suggested shot list you can use to assign your girls, guys, or anyone you like to specific moments and let them take it from there!
4. Let The Fun Begin!
Ta-da! The big day is here! Your camcorder has been tried and tested, your shot list is ready, and your favourite people are all set to help capture the magic.
The memory card can store up to 8 hours of 4K footage, so there’s plenty of space. Each battery lasts up to 3 hours, so don’t forget to pack your fully charged spares. If the camcorder has been accidentally left on or you need to recharge, the charger is in the kit and can be used overnight.
If anyone has questions or needs a quick refresher on how to use the camcorder, just scan the QR code on the cam, it’ll take you straight to a step-by-step video tutorial. And of course, if anything comes up or you need urgent help, we’re just a text away!
5. Send It Packing
All your special moments have been filmed, and we can’t wait to see them! To return the kit, just pack everything back into the original box, and don’t forget to double-check that no pesky batteries have gone missing!
A return label is included, so simply stick it to the outside of the box and drop it off at your nearest Australia Post. You’ve got 72 hours from the end of your event to post it back, so there’s plenty of time to recover from your big night!
6. Your Story, Your People, Your Day. All On Record!
Once we receive your camcorder kit, we get to work organising your footage so you can start watching it as soon as a week after your event. Over the following weeks, we carefully piece together all the golden moments into your very own custom video.
We can already see it; you and your favourite people huddled around the TV on special occasions, lazy Sundays, or just when you need a pick-me-up, rewatching your day and feeling all the nostalgia. Like your very own 90s-style home movie, made with love, and made to last!
